The company was founded by Celebrity Hair Stylist Derek Collins and co-owner and businessman Greg Cummins who partnered to create a product that can turn worst case scenario hair into beautiful silk. Collins had tried several similar products and with Cummins they took the best attributes of those products and addressed their deficiencies and created BRAZILIAN SILK™. Working with a company in Brazil, they utilized the powerful principals of Brazil's homeland fruit, the Açaí Berry. They formulated a product that, unlike others, would actually repair the hair, work on all hair types, leave the hair silky, shiny, smooth and manageable while still allowing the client to have control of the amount of volume and curl. Unlike other products on the market, BRAZILIAN SILK™ does not have an offensive odor, leaves no line of demarcation, has accumulative results and the client does not have to wait three to four days before washing or styling their hair nor do they have to revisit the salon to complete the process. BRAZILIAN SILK™ is 100% aldehyde free.
